Making an Application
This page provides important information you need to know about how to make an application.
- Vacancies are added to this site on a regular basis and can only be applied for on-line.
- All correspondence with you will be via email.
How to register:
- To make an application you must be a registered user of the site.
- To register you need to provide your name, email address and a password. These details can be changed at any time.
- You can save your application which means you do NOT have to complete the whole application process in one go.
- All information is held securely and cannot be viewed by the shortlisting panel or HR staff until you have submitted your application.
Returning to the site:
- To return to your "My Applications" area, you need to enter your username (email address) and password in the login area.
- If you have forgotten your password, click here to be taken to the reset password procedure.
- You can re-visit your saved application, or can apply for a different vacancy.
- Your saved details will have been stored for any future applications you may make.
How to Apply:
Applicants must complete the online application form in full providing:
- Evidence of how you meet each of the essential criteria for the role outlined in the application form.
- A supporting statement summarising:
- Why you are interested in applying for this role at UA92?
- Why you would make a strong candidate for this particular role?
Please ensure that:
- You summarise succinctly (using appropriate evidence/examples) which demonstrate how your qualifications, experience, skills and values meet the essential criteria outlined in the application form (and marked with *application form* in the ‘method of assessment’ column of the person profile for the role). This information will be assessed and scored at the ‘application form’ stage of the process.
- The supporting statement (outlining why you are interested in applying for the role at UA92 and why you would make a strong candidate) is no more than two sides of A4 maximum.
Other important information:
- Only application forms submitted via UA92’s online application system will be accepted. CV’s submitted without a fully completed application form will not be considered.
- Applicants may attach a copy of a current CV, providing supplementary information, if they so wish.
- Submit your application promptly. Adverts may be closed early should large numbers of applications be received.
- Applications will be accepted until 11:59pm on the closing date of the advert.
- Once the closing date has passed, applications will no longer be accepted.
- Applicants will receive an email acknowledging receipt of their application upon submission.
- You will be notified by email whether you have / have not been shortlisted for interview, this should normally be within 2 weeks of the closing date for the role.
