We are seeking to appoint highly skilled Associate Tutors across our degree disciplines to support in the delivery and contribute to the development of our curriculum. Ultimately, you’ll inspire, guide and support our students in reaching their full potential and unlocking greatness. 

You will ensure our students have a sector leading learning experience that provides a strong trajectory into employment and early career advancement. As an industry led University with a core focus on career preparedness and character and personal development, we welcome candidates with a strong background or experience in industry. 

You will join a growing, diverse, agile and forward-looking academic team, working collegiately with colleagues across the institution. You’ll also work closely with employer partners to embed the principles, philosophy and values of UA92, ensuring ambitious performance and growth targets are met in your subject area.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of engaging learning activities through our curriculum.

  • Applying robust assessment vehicles and providing regular and constructive student feedback.

  • Ensuring individual learners are well supported in their personal development journeys.

  • Engagement with employer and industry partners to ensure the curriculum and its delivery has currency from a professional practice perspective.

  • Active participation in aspiration raising, student recruitment and development of progressive partnerships.

  • Contributing to the development of our curriculum, high quality learning resources and robust assessments.


We are looking for bright and well-qualified individuals with sector experience. A track record of success and personal credibility in your subject area is essential. 

You may be an industry professional or expert with a wealth of experience and a passion for investing in future talent, or an innovative and pioneering academic with a real desire to break with convention and support our truly unique and visionary initiative. 

You will be a highly effective educator, teacher, mentor or coach with exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.  You will also have a passion for providing accessible, high-quality education, be an innovator in your own practice and be a strong team player and collaborator.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Solid subject knowledge, industry experience or expertise with relevant qualifications and accreditations to match.

  • Ability to engage learners actively through the delivery of outstanding and creative student centric learning experiences.

  • Experience of successfully supporting learner attainment and wider personal development.

  • An innovative spirit and confidence to develop and apply new techniques and technologies to improve learner success.
