Unlock Greatness. Transform Higher Education. Join the UA92 Team

UA92 is a new higher education institution that's daring to be different. Open to students in 2019, we are looking to build a “best in class” team of expert educators and experienced professionals, with the ability to develop UA92 from the ground up and drive this new venture forwards at pace, establishing it quickly as a sector leader.

At UA92, you will have the opportunity to make an impact in an organisation where change is constant, challenging convention is embraced and the vision is big!

If you’re a highly skilled, forward-thinking team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for social mobility through life-transforming, career-making higher education, then we’re keen to hear from you!

We are currently looking to recruit a Student Administration Officer.  The successful applicant will be a self-starter, a genuine team player and someone with the drive, determination and resilience needed to help us to build this revolutionary new organisation from the ground up; an individual who essentially embodies the ethos and core principles of UA92 (which apply to our employees as much as they do to our students).

Reporting to the Head of Student Registry and Quality you will:

  • be a key member of the student administration team operating and administering a wide range of applicant, student and academic-related processes, supporting the student lifecycle end-to-end.

  • work closely with the Head of Registry and Quality and be responsible for administering a number of processes and procedures for UA92’s academic portfolio, including academic quality, governance, student voice, and complaints and appeals.

  • work closely with a wide range of academic and professional service staff at UA92 and develop and maintain productive working relationships with the Lancaster University Academic Standards and Quality team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • an excellent understanding of the role that quality assurance plays in supporting the achievement of academic excellence and the provision of a high-quality student experience.

  • excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage a heavy / complex caseload.

  • experience of supporting academic quality assurance and enhancement activities.
