We are seeking to appoint an innovative and highly skilled Creative Content Assistant to create and publish high quality content, including video, written, audio and visual. You will support the External Affairs Department and wider organisation, whilst supporting the development of UA92’s Brand awareness and working to engage a diverse group of stakeholders. 

You will join a growing, agile and forward-looking Marketing and Communications team and will work collaboratively across the institution, and with employer partners to embed the principles, philosophy and values of UA92.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and deliver creative content for a range of digital campaigns including email marketing, and social media across all platforms.

  • Plan, film and edit engaging video content, including promotional videos, interviews, vox pops, and time-lapses. With knowledge of various format of video exports.

  • Create and develop graphics for print and digital including flyers and posters, email communications, social media, and motion graphics.

  • Produce and update web content.

  • Plan and implement a creative content plan.

  • Conduct research to keep up-to-date with the latest social and digital trends.

  • Work closely with UA92’s design agency.

  • Work with UA92 influencers to produce innovative content.

  • Assist the team on a range of events including Open Days and Higher Education Fairs


We are looking for a bright and creative individual with digital marketing experience, and the drive and determination to succeed while making a positive difference.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Subject knowledge in either Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Videography or creative field (ideally a relevant degree, alongside the required GCSE grades).

  • Experience of video and audio production with strong editing skills.

  • Experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused environment.

  • Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro.

  • Strong understanding of the demands and requirements of different platforms and channels with the ability to produce and schedule content that caters to these variances.

  • Experience of creating design assets.

  • Creative thinker with Excellent team-working skills.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to join and help shape the UA92 brand through various digital and social media campaigns, while playing a key role in supporting our marketing and communications strategy.

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week. However, due to the nature of the post you will be expected to work flexibly. Consideration will be given to applications for part-time or flexible working, subject to business needs.
